How to cut things professionally
- You need an x-acto knife, a metal ruler and a cutting mat
- Keep the ruler between you and the knife
- Don't cut towards your body
- Use the ruler to protect the image area.
Work on Project 6
- Find images for your cookie cutter
- Ask yourself, "How will this look as a cookie", "what does it mean to be a cookie, to be eaten?"
- Look for shapes without thin parts
