Join the Career Development team this week for several engaging events in Golisano Hall (First Floor). 


  • Interviewing - Wednesday, October 6th - 4:30pm to 5:00pm - Add event to calendar

    • Learn how to improve your interviewing skills.

       

  • Internship Information Session - Thursday, October 6th - 5:00pm to 6:00pm - Add to Calendar

    • Learn about different ways to find an internship and how to register it for academic credit.

       

  • Self-Branding - Friday, October 8th - 12:20pm to 1:15pm - Add to Calendar

    • Join the Diversity, Belonging and Inclusion and Career Development teams for a discussion on the ins and outs of the job search and interview process, including how to construct a diversity statement and answer questions related to diversity.

Work on 3D Abstract Geometric Sculptures

* Spend 7 min mixing and matching the virtual objects in Tinkercad to create your sculpture.

- This is about working fast and getting as many shapes as you can on the workplane in 7 min. After that stop and start a new one! Make as many as possible!



 

Work on Artist Trading Cards

* Create a 6 up of each of your ATCs

- email your jpgs to  CopyCenter@hartwick.edu to get them printed. Ask for your files to be printed on 8.5x11" card stock.

 

* Break one of your ATCs into  4-7 layers to be turned into an Augmented Reality image. 

- make an account on Artivive

- upload you base layer (jpeg) and your other layers (png) to Artivive
