The Membit App
Membit is a free location based augmented reality app for Android and iOS.
The Membit app shares augmented reality experiences through "channels" and "membits".
- a 'channel' holds the overall AR experience and can contains many membits.
- a 'membit' holds the digital content: images, 3d models, videos and sound
Think of it like a website. The 'channel' is the 'website' and the 'membits' are the 'webpages'. Instead of looking at the digital content on a computer you can see the experience on location interacting in real space.
You will be adding to the "Art 116 Channel" in Membuit.
How to view "Membits" in the ART116 "Channel"
You will need a username to be connected to our channel on the Membit App.
Use the following convention to create your username.
Like your Hartwick email address, your username should be your last name, first initial.
i.e. my username is 'vonstengelj'.
Email the professor your username when you get signed into Membit so you can be added to the channel!
